Tennis Enthusiasts

For anybody who is unaware, we do have a tennis court on the property for your use. It’s likely you have never seen it. It is tucked back in the wooded area behind the EE, FF and GG buildings. There is a staircase located next to the GG building that will take you down to the court.

We had an idea to organize a sign up in the office to pair people up for tennis if you’d like to play but don’t have a partner. If there is any interest in that idea please let us know and we would be more than happy to set something up!

Cookie Exchange!

Our next resident function will be a cookie exchange.

When: Saturday, April 9th

Where: Poplar Place Clubhouse

Time: 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm

What is a "Cookie Exchange" you ask? Each guest brings either a dozen or half dozen cookies for each person attending, plus a dozen for the party. Also, bring copies of your recipe to share with others at the party. Eat cookies, share and have fun! It’s just that simple.

PLEASE SIGN UP IN THE LEASING OFFICE SO WE KNOW HOW MANY WILL BE ATTENDING.

Owasa's lake recreation season begins this Saturday, March 26th.

What does this mean for you? There is a lake at your disposal directly across the street from our main entrance! Walk over to University Lake for a fabulous picnic and boating excursion. If you’d rather fish or sunbathe, then perfect! You can do that too.



Cane Creek Reservoir

 Take a short drive to Cane Creek Reservoir for all of the aforementioned activities plus a nature trail.

The season runs through Sunday, November 13th. For details about hours, directions, boat rental fees and other recreational activities please visit here.

Sunday: 1:00 pm-6:00 pm
