 Come in to the leasing office on Thursday, February 14th to have a sweet treat with chance to win!  There will be yummy cupcakes, and in three of them, a different color candy heart.  Each one will be worth money off your March, 2013 rent!

Food Drive Extended into December

Poplar Place Apartments’ 5^th Annual Food Drive has been extended into December!

It’s the time of year for saying "Thanks"

Continuing through December 20, 2012

We did not collect as many donations as we had hoped for during the Thanksgiving holiday, so the food drive has been extended into December. During the food drive we can truly made a difference in the community for the holiday season. With the generous efforts and contributions of our wonderful residents and Management, this year we know that together we can make an even greater impact on the community! So let’s take a moment and think about how many people can be fed if we collect even more items. Please place whatever food or personal hygiene items in any paper or plastic bag(s) and drop it off at the leasing office. Your contributions will be taken to the Inner-Faith Council.

As an added incentive to give, you will have your name entered for every item donated into a drawing to win $100 off of January 2013 rent! The more you donate the better chance you have to win!

Items most needed:

Canned meats, canned vegetables, pasta and pasta sauce, soup, dried beans, canned fruit, rice, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, grits and oatmeal packets.

Personal Hygiene:

Toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss, deodorant, razors and shaving cream, soap and shampoo, lotion, washcloths, feminine products, diapers, blankets, space heaters, box fans. All non-perishable items are appreciated.

*Please drop off all items in the leasing office by 6:00 pm on December 20, 2012.

**Please remember that donated items can not be opened, expired or contain any alcohol.

COMMNITY MEETING

On Wednesday, October 24th, we invite everyone to attend our Community/Safety Meeting here at the Poplar Place clunhouse.  We will have a member of the police here to speak to everyone and answer questions regarding safety, the recent crime in the area and what you can do to help prevent crime from happening to you.  We really encourage everyone to attend to get all the up to date information.  Remember, this is a great opportunity to have your questions answered by a police officer as he will be here for all of you that night. 

The time of the meeting will be from 6pm unitl 7:30pm, and there will be snacks provided.

Rent Reminder

Just a reminder that tomorrow, 10/5/2012,  is the last day to pay rent before late fees are added.  You can pay in the rental office or pay online.
