OWASA will dedicate the blood drive in honor of Engineering Technician, Sandy Beckham, who will retire on September 1st with 32 years of service to the Chapel Hill-Carrboro community. In 1982, Mr. Beckham began OWASA's blood drive program.

Gym Code

We will be changing the code to the gym door on Monday. Starting Friday, please call, stop by or email the office for the new code.

Property Wishlist

The annual budget meeting is in our near future and there are two items we are really pushing for this time around. Once again, bike racks, and in addition to that, window cleaning for the outside of every building.

Approval is, at times, based on our ability to prove a need. We have ideas in mind but we are also extending this opportunity to you as well.

If you would like to submit a letter on why Poplar Place needs bike racks or why the outside of our windows should be cleaned, we would greatly appreciate it and welcome you to turn in something we may pass along.

If you would like to submit a letter, please do so by September 9th. Let us know if you have any questions.

All the Gutters will be cleaned early next week.  Contractors will be on ladders, so we ask you to keep your blinds closed on Monday and Tuesday while you are away.  We thank you for your patience during the work.  Let us know if you have any questions.

break in update

"We have made an arrest in several of our daytime residential break-ins. This investigation is continuing and we anticipate more charges. I have attached the media release. I keep stressing the importance of recording your property’s serial number when I send out email alerts. In this case, serial numbers were very helpful. Please call 911 if you see suspicious activity in your neighborhood. Please forward this email as needed."
